Friday Night Booty Shakin’ with the Boys! Paul Wharton Style

And so it begins… As some of you know, I created a blog a few years ago called TrenDC and wrote it every day for over a year for the CW. I loved documenting my life daily and looking back over the year to see what I did. Can you imagine me hanging out late into the night, coming home and spilling my beans about what I did each night?! It was juicy and wonderful and now I’m gonna do it again on PaulWhartonStyle.com starting now!

Friday Night with the Boys! Andrew Noyes, Gerry Coates, Paul Wharton, Zach French and Friends!

This weekend was wild and wonderful. On Friday night my friends Gerry Coates, Andrew Noyes and a few others convinced me to hang out. I was laying on the couch reading my book “The Tools” having a very Oprah spiritual moment and I thought, let me get myself up, pull it together and shake my booty out here with the boys! And that’s exactly what I did… 25 minutes later Gerry and the crew were sitting out front ready to roll. Our first stop was a place that I don’t really get to much, The Green Lantern. It’s a bar downstairs and dance club upstairs located off 14th Street between Thomas Circle and L Street. I invited my friend Zach French to meet us and in a matter of minutes we were all up on the dance floor shaking it down to the ground! There was a guy on the dance floor that stomped on my shoe, looked at me, screamed and said he was the biggest DC Housewives fan on the planet. I said, did you stomp on my foot on purpose to start talking about Housewives… He shocked me by simply saying “Yes”! So, shout out to you homeboy from the dance floor! After The Green Lantern, we hit up The Passenger DC (remember them from Paul Wharton Style last season?) and ended up meeting so many new people and hanging out with the staff that I love so much! Shout out to Passenger DC peeps, we had a blast! The night ended with Zach and I walking through China Town looking for food! We shuffled into New Big Wong on H Street and some people that we met at The Passenger were sitting eating at a table. Now we didn’t know these people but we were so hungry, we sat at their table and I say with shame, we ate the heck out of their food! Haaa LOL, a good time was had by all!

Note to yourself, if you can’t remember the last time you got on a dance floor and shook it like a salt shaker, here’s what you do… Get dressed, fix your attitude up, get off the wall, separate from your group of spinster friends, put a smile on your face, ask someone to dance and get your groove on!

What hot spots do you like to go to?! Let’s do a US bar hop and really show them how we shake it!
