Hello Beautiful People! I wanted to share a little of what I’m experiencing right now in California. I’m on Day 3 of my wellness spa retreat in San Diego at OHI. My purpose for being here is to move ahead on my personal path toward achieving optimum health in body, mind and spirit. It’s positively mind blowing to feel and experience how self healing and resilient our bodies are if we just feed it what it needs to thrive/survive. We enjoyed the most beautiful raw food for the first day and a half and now we’ve moved to a diet of green juice (Hypo-No sugar) for the next 3 days. All of the energy that our bodies used to digest the whole vegetables we consumed before can now be used to heal our cells and organs as we detox.
The Ultimate Green Detox Juice:

- 2 green apples, cut in half
- 3 celery stalks, no leaves
- 1 cucumber
- 8 kale leaves
- 1/2 lemon or lime, peeled
- 1 piece of fresh ginger
- sprig of mint (optional)

The people here are wonderful. We’re working out, hiking, meditating, getting colonics and massages and taking classes daily to learn about how to respect and preserve our temples. The best part is, I get to experience all of this healing with my dear friend @jeniferlewisforreal – a woman with a kind, compassionate heart and the ability to have me laughing until I cry in between #wheatgrass shots (takes my mind off of the green)!
